For luck we'll be serving such dishes as black eyed peas and cornbread.

For curing hangovers we'll be featuring bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches and Union Smothered Fries.

The Quitters– finger picking & flat picking guitar mastery

The Quitters– finger picking & flat picking guitar mastery

Saturday
January 6, 2018
8:00PM

The Quitters is the dynamic guitar duo right-side up finger picking (Stevie Coyle) and upside down flat picking (Glenn Houston). Having each quit some of the best bands in the business, both are late founding members of The Waybacks. Stevie Coyle has a long and illustrious career as an entertainer that began well before birth and Glenn Houston’s well decorated history in music is best known for his founding role of powerhouse Americana quintet, Houston Jones. As individuals, both are renowned players in music circles. Now they have joined forces, to the delight of California audiences, to become a right-handed, right-side up fingerpicking and left-handed upside down flatpicking twosome. Mostly acoustic. Some electric. Much serendipity.

Serbian Christmas

Serbian Christmas

For over 100 years our Serbian-American population has celebrated on the 7th day of January, (13 days after December 25th) with a volley of rifle shots to announce that Christ Is Born.

There is a procession through Main St. Jackson starting approximately 12pm. The traditional volley of shots (with a police escort) in front of the National Hotel, St. Sava's Church on North Main St., and St. Sava's Mission on Broadway herald this unique local celebration.

Know that you are safe and all is well as the rifles are not loaded with live rounds. It's your neighbor celebrating and keeping alive the rich traditions of the old country and wishing you every happiness this Holiday Season with great prosperity and good health in the New Year!

The Unauthorized Rolling Stones featuring Rudy Colombini

The Unauthorized Rolling Stones featuring Rudy Colombini

Saturday
January 27, 2018
8:00PM to 10:00PM

$24-$27

This was a killer show last time, high energy, costumes, backup singers, lots of fun! A really great sounding band!

Since their founding in 2001, Rudy Colombini & The Unauthorized Rolling Stones have brought the excitement, energy, and hits of a live Rolling Stones show to stages across the country. In 2014, founder and frontman Colombini expanded the band by adding all-star members from some of the biggest acts in music, including Kevin Russell (Jersey Boys), Matty Pinder, (son of The Moody Blues’ Mike Pinder), Ronnie Smith, (Tommy Castro Band), and Sandy Griffith, (Celine Dion, Boz Skaggs, Kenny Loggins). The result has been a quantum leap that has left other Stones tributes in the dust.

Rudy Colombini & The Unauthorized Rolling Stones is a must-see, theatrical rock show! The nine-piece ensemble’s pedigree can be traced to some of the biggest acts in the business. Their show holds in reverence many legends of the classic rock years, from Zeppelin to Motown to Dylan, while maintaining their Rolling Stones core. And Colombini’s staggering, Jaggeresque showmanship now engages in a battle of the sexes with a trio of seductive, bluesy backup vocalists.
