A somewhat hidden vista point along Highway 88, Shot Rock Vista sits toward the west of the Armador Ranger District in the Eldorado National Forest. Offering picnicking facilities, the site provides access to some fantastic scenic views.

Directions from Amador: Highway 88, west of Silver Lake and 1 mile east of the Mormon Emigrant Trail turnoff.
